Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients, including support through vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Manage antepartum patients and deliver postpartum and newborn care
- Maintain labor patient ratios of 1:1, and postpartum and nursery ratios of 5–6:1
- Operate GE fetal monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB techs, nursery nurses, and unit leadership
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements (every third weekend) and 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
- Proficiency with GE fetal monitors and electronic medical records
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience in an LDRP setting with high birth volumes
- Familiarity with Meditech and CPN EMR platforms
