Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Boston, MA

Contract | 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Minimum of 4 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and 2 Friday shifts per 6-week block | One 12-hour on-call shift required per 6-week schedule | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included in guarantee)

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit, supporting vaginal births, VBACs, and Caesarian deliveries
• Manage and monitor high-risk obstetric patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units as needed
• Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled within each 6-week block
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in a tertiary-level care environment including a Level III NICU

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts — must be held at time of submission
• Current ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated high-risk/tertiary obstetric experience — required
• Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Previous travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Familiarity with Level III NICU environments and high-volume delivery settings

• Work in a high-acuity, high-volume tertiary care environment offering diverse and complex clinical experience in Labor & Delivery
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly providing consistent and predictable compensation throughout your contract
