Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care across the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care within an LDRP unit
- Deliver care to patients in antepartum triage, active labor, postpartum (mother and baby), special care nursery, and general nursery
- Apply the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and executing safe patient care delivery
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff; provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with MedHost (inpatient), GE Centricity (OB), or Athena (clinic) EMR systems
- Comfort working in a small-volume LDRP unit with variable patient ratios (1:1 – 1:4) and floating responsibilities
