Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients throughout all stages of labor and delivery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using continuous electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including preparation and recovery support
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and other ordered treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Prior clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
- Ability to work night shift hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
- Familiarity with floating to other units or care sites as operational needs require
