Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients through vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
- Deliver postpartum care to newly delivered mothers and newborn care following delivery
- Perform transition nursing responsibilities for newborns
- Monitor patients using GE Monitors, Panda Warmers, Novi, and Neptune equipment
- Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
- Float to Mother/Baby unit as needed and willing to serve in a charge nurse capacity
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience including transition, postpartum, and newborn care
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Ability to maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 2:1
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
- Experience with GE monitoring systems and related obstetric equipment
- Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
