Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients through vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
Deliver postpartum care to newly delivered mothers and newborn care following delivery
Perform transition nursing responsibilities for newborns
Monitor patients using GE Monitors, Panda Warmers, Novi, and Neptune equipment
Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
Float to Mother/Baby unit as needed and willing to serve in a charge nurse capacity
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience including transition, postpartum, and newborn care
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Ability to maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 2:1
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
Experience with GE monitoring systems and related obstetric equipment
Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
