Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within an LDRP unit encompassing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery
- Apply the nursing process to patient care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Educate patients, significant others, and support persons on relevant care topics
- Accurately document all patient care activities in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Active Oregon RN license or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Completed skills checklist within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with OBIX fetal surveillance system and EPIC electronic health record
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) and STABLE certifications
