Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit maintaining a 2:1 patient ratio
- Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and external cephalic versions
- Monitor and assess high-risk obstetric patients using Centricity and GE fetal monitoring equipment
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CSTs, and flex staff across a 29-bed unit with 4 ORs, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms
- Function as a self-starter capable of working independently while supporting fellow team members
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification or AWHONN certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech EMR
- PACU experience
- Surgical/OR experience in an obstetric setting
