    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Dickinson, North Dakota, 58601!

    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Block Scheduling | Every Third Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and postpartum mother/baby couplets in an LDRP setting, primarily serving patients at 35+ weeks gestation
    • Titrate drips including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and other antepartum and postpartum medications per provider orders
    • Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate tracings using the OB Trace Vue electronic fetal monitoring system
    • Manage and troubleshoot neonatal respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices
    • Circulate for the newborn during cesarean section procedures in collaboration with the surgical team
    • Float as needed to other units for 1:1 patient observation support
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
    • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
    • Ability to pass facility-required respiratory fit testing; candidates with facial hair must be able to pass an approved fit test protocol
    • Ability to titrate IV drips independently per unit protocols
    • Compliance with block scheduling requirements and time-off request policies (7 or fewer days requested upfront per 13-week contract)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital setting with limited on-site specialty resources
    • Familiarity with AWHONN staffing guidelines and labor/postpartum ratio standards
    • Strong independent clinical judgment and communication skills suited to a low-volume, high-acuity environment
