Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn settings
• Assist with and circulate for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including OR circulation
• Administer blood and blood products; manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and drains
• Administer medications including insulin and magnesium sulfate
• Start adult IVs and perform fetal heart monitoring (FHM)
• Float to other units or sister facilities as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) competency required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP, L&D, Postpartum, and Newborn care
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply
• Former permanent employees of any affiliated Providence facility must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in high-risk antepartum and high-risk L&D settings
• Familiarity with couplet care and post-op/pre-op OB patients
• Experience floating across multiple OB-related units
