Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 18:00–06:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients, including high-risk OB cases and a culturally diverse patient population
- Circulate on cesarean sections as part of the care team
- Manage an average daily census of 15–20 patients across an 11-room, 15-bed unit
- Meet weekend staffing requirements as needed
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities nearby to meet staffing needs, within scope of practice
Required Qualifications- Active, valid California RN license (pending license not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
- Willingness to work weekends and 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Post-partum nursing experience strongly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
