Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every other weekend required | Call shifts 2x per scheduled period | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit throughout the duration of a 13-week travel contract
• Monitor and assess laboring patients, interpreting fetal monitoring strips and responding to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, supporting physicians and the clinical care team
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and carry out physician orders in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in on-call shifts as required per the scheduling period
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Arkansas RN license or multistate (Compact) RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
