Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Perform and interpret fetal monitoring assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Mississippi (or compact equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
• All certifications must be submitted with application — submissions without complete certifications attached will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in Labor & Delivery
• Experience with high-acuity obstetric patients
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in hospital settings
