Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting, including labor support, delivery, and postpartum care for pregnant women and newborns
- Perform triage assessments and function as the primary delivery and newborn transition nurse
- Titrate drips including Pitocin in accordance with unit protocols and AWHONN guidelines
- Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) using the OBIX system
- Serve as charge nurse when assigned, functioning as one of two nurses on shift and carrying a patient assignment
- Assist with occasional float support to med-surg as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience with LDRP training
- Current ALS (ACLS) certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
- Ability to triage patients and function as the baby catcher and newborn transition nurse
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital setting
- Familiarity with the OBIX electronic fetal monitoring system
- Comfort working in a low-volume, high-acuity environment with limited on-site support staff
