Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum couplet care
- Circulate in the OR for cesarean section procedures
- Titrate pitocin drips and manage other titratable medications per protocol
- Perform and interpret continuous fetal monitoring using GE and OBIX systems
- Adhere to AWHONN staffing and care guidelines
- Fulfill call, standby, and floating requirements per unit policy
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure in the state of Kansas or compact eligibility
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Experience in LDRP care including couplet care
- Ability to circulate in the OR for C-section procedures
- Competency with fetal monitoring interpretation
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with GE and OBIX electronic fetal monitoring systems
- Experience working in a low-volume or critical access LDRP environment
- Comfort with charge nurse responsibilities and taking a patient assignment simultaneously
