Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Possible weekend and holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit supporting Level I and Level III Perinatal designations
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Utilize electronic health record systems, specifically Cerner, to document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to manage high-risk obstetric cases
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as required by unit scheduling needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
- Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active NRP certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active AFM certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics or perinatal care settings
