Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit supporting Level I and Level III Perinatal designations
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Utilize electronic health record systems, specifically Cerner, to document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to manage high-risk obstetric cases
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as required by unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
• Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active NRP certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active AFM certification from an approved vendor

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Experience in high-risk obstetrics or perinatal care settings
