Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
- Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered at the unit level
- Monitor and support competency of clinical staff
- Manage appropriate resources related to patient care
- Support facility nursing leadership in maintaining care standards and operational goals
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with clinical staff supervision and care delegation
