Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed LDRP unit serving obstetric, postpartum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, and high-risk patients including those with hypertension or diabetes
• Titrate drips including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Procardia per physician orders and unit protocols
• Maintain patient ratios in accordance with AWHONN guidelines, including 1:1 care for actively laboring patients
• Participate in one week of classroom orientation followed by 2–3 supervised shifts on the unit floor
• Complete a required open-book skills assessment during orientation with a minimum passing score of 90%
• Adhere to unit policies including artificial nail prohibition in all patient care areas

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Ability to pass a unit-specific open-book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-risk obstetric populations including hypertensive disorders and gestational diabetes
• Familiarity with breastfeeding support and patient education in a postpartum setting
• Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery environment
