Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Scheduled as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity, 18-bed Labor and Delivery unit
• Float as needed to Mother Antepartum Unit (MAU), Mother Baby Unit (MBU), and OB Special Care (OBSC)
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Operate Triton and SurgiCount systems in accordance with unit protocols
• Adhere to scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays as assigned
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required (non-billable, average 2–4 hours)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; no open background cases permitted
• Current driver's license required for address verification
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Experience with high-acuity obstetric patients
• Familiarity with Triton and SurgiCount systems
