Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery in Hagerstown, MD

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Rotate through all LDRP roles including Labor, Triage, and Postpartum/Mother-Baby care
• Manage 1–2 patients during Labor assignments
• Manage 3–4 couplets during Postpartum assignments
• Participate in on-call hours as determined by staffing needs, typically averaging 16–20 hours per 6-week schedule
• Work some holidays and weekends as part of the standard scheduling requirements
• Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and clinical experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery / LDRP experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current AWHONN certification
• Current FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with OB surgical recovery, including C-section recovery
• Comfort and experience providing Mother-Baby postpartum care
