Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff within the unit
- Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care at the unit level
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care in a clinical setting
- Ability to supervise and delegate care to appropriate clinical staff
