Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 13 or 26 Week Contracts Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients in labor, preterm labor, low-risk antepartum, and triage settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, post-op, OB-GYN, and couplet care responsibilities
• Administer and monitor specialty medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate, and manage epidural, PCA, and syringe pumps
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support transition nursery and GYN surgeries as needed
• Operate and manage specialty equipment including wound vacs, cooling/warming blankets, and blood/blood product administration
• Float to post-partum and potentially a sister Labor and Delivery unit as required; staffing ratio 1:1–3

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals are accepted at a different rate)
• Must commit to working holidays as outlined in contract; up to 2 major holiday requests may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and GYN surgical procedures
• Familiarity with couplet care and transition nursery settings
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
