Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 13 or 26 week contracts available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for labor, preterm labor, low-risk antepartum, and post-operative OB-GYN patients across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support couplet care and transition nursery as needed
• Perform and manage special procedures including blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, Magnesium Sulfate, Heparin, Insulin, and Wound Vac
• Circulate and scrub for OB-GYN surgeries; provide pre-op and post-op care
• Operate special equipment including cardioversion/defibrillation and cooling/warming blankets
• Float as needed to Post-Partum and potentially a sister Labor and Delivery facility; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); up to 2 major holidays may be requested off
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are welcome and accepted
• 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with high-risk obstetric populations and GYN surgical cases is a plus
