Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to labor, preterm labor, low-risk antepartum, and post-operative OB-GYN patients across labor rooms and triage rooms
  • Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery as needed
  • Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialty medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
  • Operate and monitor specialty equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vacs, and cooling/warming blankets
  • Perform or assist with cardioversion/defibrillation and management of drains
  • Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set as required
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
  • Must not be a first-time traveler
  • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Experience with high-risk OB patients and NICU-level care is a plus
