Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
- Circulate and scrub for OB-GYN and GYN surgeries, including pre-op and post-op care
- Attend low-risk and high-risk deliveries; support couplet care and transition nursery as needed
- Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
- Administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
- Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set as required
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Must not be a first-time traveler
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience with cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, and drain management
- Experience in NICU or Post-Partum settings is a plus
