Provide nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Float to other units as facility needs require
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure; Florida license (or eligibility) required — AHCA compliance required for Florida placements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and/or Mother/Baby care
Minimum 2 years of prior travel nursing experience
