Job Title
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 (19:00–07:30) | Every other weekend required | Holidays required as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients across a broad patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Monitor and interpret fetal electronic monitoring in accordance with unit protocols
Float within the Labor and Delivery specialty and to Mother/Baby as needed
Adhere to all unit scheduling requirements including every other weekend and holidays as they fall
Complete all onboarding compliance requirements, including labs within 72 hours of contract signing and all compliance documents no later than 5 days prior to start date
Required Qualifications
Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
BLS certification (AHA only) required in hand at time of submission
ACLS certification (AHA only) required in hand at time of submission
NCC C-EFM certification required in hand at time of submission
CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
STABLE and NIH certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery RN experience with a strong skillset; first-time travelers accepted
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers may be considered at a reduced rate — contact your recruiter for details
Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special requests
Preferred Experience / Skills
2 or more years of Labor and Delivery RN experience preferred
Experience floating to Mother/Baby units
Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and onboarding requirements
