Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery in Laramie, WY

Contract | Rotating Shift | Onsite

• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of patient care within scope of practice
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs
• Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders accurately
• Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing, certification, and documentation requirements throughout employment

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• Current, valid RN license in the State of Wyoming and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required if performing circulating or recovery room duties for C-section
• Current, valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required if caring for pediatric patients

• Previous experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
• Special Care Nursery and/or NICU experience preferred
• Labor & Delivery nurses are expected to complete Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring within the first year and Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring within three years of completing labor orientation
