Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients (32 weeks gestation and greater), including elective and medical inductions of labor, stable antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and well newborns
Circulate in OR suites for cesarean sections as needed
Titrate drips per protocol, including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin as indicated
Perform triage assessments and manage triage patients within a 4-bed triage area
Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards, maintaining ratios of 1:1 in Labor and Delivery and 1:6 couple care in Postpartum
Float to like Labor and Delivery units within the valley as needed; may occasionally serve as a sitter in Med/Surg or the ED
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Idaho (or compact eligibility)
S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required (must have completed at least once)
AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
Experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and OR circulating is required; triage experience strongly preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
Familiarity with GE Connect electronic fetal monitoring systems
Experience working within AWHONN guideline-driven staffing environments
Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
