Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients (32 weeks gestation and greater), including elective and medical inductions, stable antepartum, postpartum, and well newborn patients across a 10-bed L&D unit with 4 triage beds and 10 postpartum beds
Circulate in OR suites for cesarean sections as needed
Titrate drips per protocol, including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin on an as-needed basis
Perform continuous electronic fetal monitoring using the GE Connect EFM system
Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards, maintaining 1:1 ratios in L&D and 1:6 couple care ratios in postpartum
Float to like Labor and Delivery units within the valley as needed (rare occurrence; notice provided prior to shift)
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Idaho
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
S.T.A.B.L.E. program completion (at least once)
AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
Demonstrated experience in Labor and Delivery, postpartum care, and OR circulation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Triage experience in a Labor and Delivery setting strongly preferred
Familiarity with GE Connect electronic fetal monitoring systems
Experience titrating obstetric drips including Pitocin and magnesium sulfate per protocol
