Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor and delivery
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Educate patients and families on labor progression, postpartum care, and newborn care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Ability to fulfill travel contract requirements and work assigned day shift schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and high-acuity obstetric care
