Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, escalating concerns to the care team as appropriate
• Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with physicians and midwives
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per provider orders and unit protocols
• Availability required every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Current BLS and applicable specialty certifications (e.g., NRP, ACLS, EFM) as required by the unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and obstetric documentation systems
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and team workflows
