Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced birthing environment
• Educate and support patients and families during the postpartum period, including newborn care and breastfeeding guidance
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license (or compact license eligibility)
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Experience in Labor and Delivery or LDRP nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a combined LDRP unit setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
