Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for all assigned patients in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Provide nursing care across the full scope of the LDRP unit, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
- Perform competency-validated skills specific to labor and delivery nursing practice
- Monitor fetal status using intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring techniques
- Collaborate with the care team to support maternal and neonatal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum one year of RN experience, preferably in a specialty nursing department
- BLS (Basic Life Support) at the Healthcare Provider level (AHA or equivalent) required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS (AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of completing L&D training, renewed every 2 years
- NRP (AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required within 6 months of completing L&D training, renewed every 2 years
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course completion required within 6 months of completing L&D training, renewed every 2 years (Advanced Fetal Monitoring accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior acute care registered nurse experience
- RN-C (Certified Registered Nurse) certification preferred
