Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients within a 12-bed Labor and Delivery unit at a 1:2 patient ratio
Manage care of the newborn immediately following delivery
Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean section procedures
Support and assist with procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
Utilize documentation systems CPN and Meditach for accurate and timely patient charting
Fulfill scheduling requirements including 3 weekend shifts and 1 on-call shift per scheduling period; travelers float first per unit policy
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NRP certification
AWHONN Intermediate (not Advanced) or CEFM certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience circulating and recovering cesarean section patients
Familiarity with CPN and Meditach documentation platforms
Strong commitment to shared decision-making and patient experience standards
