Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Circulate for C-sections and assist in the recovery of post-cesarean patients
• Perform thorough pain assessments and manage pain effectively throughout the care continuum
• Float within the hospital to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility compliance standards, including timely completion of onboarding modules and labs

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license — required at time of submission
• ACLS certification — required at time of submittal
• BLS certification — required at time of submittal
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification — required at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 supervisor references preferred
• Prior experience floating within a hospital setting
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms for module completion during orientation
