Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Circulate for obstetric procedures as required by unit needs
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records
- Flex availability to accommodate unit scheduling needs, including weekend assignments as required
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
- Active California RN license in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Must be able to circulate
- Must not be a first-time travel nurse
Preferred Experience / Skills- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
- Experience in large acute care hospital settings highly preferred
