Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for assigned Labor & Delivery patients under the direction of a licensed physician
- Apply the nursing process to collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
- Direct and supervise nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing principles, theories, and evidence-based methods and techniques relevant to Labor & Delivery practice
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License or Multi-State Compact RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery or related clinical specialty
