Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Labor & Delivery unit during day shift hours
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using advanced fetal monitoring techniques throughout labor and delivery
- Assist with and respond to obstetric emergencies, applying ACLS and NRP protocols as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to and during the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions on record
- Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- Active NRP certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with facility locations, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
