Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment
- Apply independent and supervisory discretion in clinical decision-making within the Labor and Delivery setting
- Support an Epic EMR conversion, accurately documenting patient care within the system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used during a single position
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or ARC Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or held a staff employee position; no gaps or incomplete assignments
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
