Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an active Labor & Delivery unit including LDR rooms, OB triage, antepartum, and PACU settings
- Circulate and assist with C-sections and other OR procedures including epidurals, spinals, cerclage, and external cephalic version
- Administer and monitor IV drips including magnesium and other high-acuity medications
- Manage high-acuity obstetric patients and respond appropriately in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic documentation systems
- Float within the women's and children's service line as needed per unit policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a scrub role and circulating in an OR environment
- Familiarity with Meditech and/or CPN electronic health record systems
- Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit with Level III NICU support
