Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: August 3, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an active Labor and Delivery unit with labor beds, OB evaluation, OB PACU, and OR coverage
• Manage laboring patients including titrating medications, performing cervical exams, NSTs, and McRoberts maneuvers
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring using GE fetal monitoring equipment and document via CPN and Meditech EMR
• Maintain a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio, or 1:1 as acuity requires
• Float to Postpartum/Couplet Care as needed, providing couplet care for mother and newborn
• Adhere to weekend and on-call requirements as unit needs dictate

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in California
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Demonstrated ability to perform AWHONN fetal monitoring
• Ability to provide Couplet Care when floated to Postpartum

Preferred Experience / Skills

• More than 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Experience as a Transition Nurse or with newborn delivery (Baby Catching)
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with varied patient acuity
