Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and newborns in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor using continuous fetal monitoring
- Assist with and respond to obstetric emergencies and interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of current Labor and Delivery experience
- Active ACLS certification
- Active BLS certification
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Active Fetal Monitoring certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- STABLE Program certification
- Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
