Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within a large academic medical center setting
• Ability to circulate C-sections as required
• Provide postpartum care and support to patients as needed
• Float to other units or facilities within the health system as operationally required
• Complete all required non-billable orientation modules prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BSN required
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• AWHONN Intermediate certification
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience
• Teaching hospital experience required
• 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submission
• Any prior employment with any University of California medical facility or affiliated facility must be disclosed with dates, units, and manager names at time of submission for rehire eligibility review
• Local candidates are accepted and are subject to the same rates as travel candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel assignment experience
• Postpartum nursing experience
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
