Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a combined Labor & Delivery and OB/GYN unit consisting of 17 L&D rooms and 5 OB rooms
- Monitor, assess, and support laboring patients and postpartum patients throughout the continuum of Women's Services care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for obstetric patients
- Respond to call requirements as needed and float within the unit as directed
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure valid in North Carolina
- Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery or Women's Services experience
- Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, AWHONN, NRP, and PALS
- Proficiency with Cerner EHR
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills- Broad Women's Services background encompassing antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
- Professional demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills
