Job Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns while supporting positive clinical outcomes throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
The RN will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced obstetrics environment focused on safety, clinical excellence, and whole-person care.
Shift Details
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Shift Availability: Day & Night shifts available
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Support patient education and emotional care during childbirth
Collaborate with physicians, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary staff
Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
Respond effectively to emergency obstetric situations
Ensure adherence to clinical safety and quality standards
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
NRP certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
