Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting
- Monitor and assess laboring patients using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques
- Support and care for postpartum patients following delivery
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and positive patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Labor and delivery nursing experience required
- Postpartum nursing experience required
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Must reside 80 or more miles from the facility
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a combined labor, delivery, and postpartum unit
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in high-acuity obstetric environments
