Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite | Floating and call required
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assist laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
- Circulate for vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections; attend deliveries to support newborn resuscitation
- Triage obstetrical patients at 20 weeks gestation and above; communicate findings and updates with providers
- Recover vaginal and cesarean delivery patients and provide care to antepartum patients requiring management in Labor & Delivery
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
- Float between departments within the Women's Pavilion as required; fulfill on-call obligations per unit schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Minimum 2 previously completed travel assignments in Labor & Delivery
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Ability to pass an EKG competency assessment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CPN (GE) and Cerner electronic medical record systems
- Experience circulating for cesarean sections strongly preferred
