RN - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care to patients and families during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
- Respond to and manage emergency obstetric situations as they arise
- Circulate for Cesarean section procedures
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel within their scope of practice
- Operate within an LDRP care model with rotating night shifts and no on-call requirement
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring / Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience working within an LDRP care model
