Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 11-bed Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
• Perform labor management including cervical checks, medication management (oxytocin, magnesium), and IV starts
• Serve as OR circulator for vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Conduct pre-operative and PACU care as required by unit needs
• Utilize GE L&D fetal monitoring systems including wireless NOVII monitoring and document in Meditech Expanse and GE CPN Connect EMR
• Function independently while collaborating with a charge nurse, surgical tech, and RN team on night shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience with strong independent clinical skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in cervical checks, OR circulator duties, IV insertion, and medication management including oxytocin and magnesium
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and EFM
• Experience with labor management in a fast-paced acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with internal device placement including IUPC and FSE
• Newborn transition experience
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR or GE CPN Connect
